Shooting

[edit]

The gunman opened fire at a social security office in Kerameikos, striking an employee in the leg. Police arrived at the scene and treated the man, but the gunman fled. CCTV from a local store near the social security office, showed the gunman walking down the street carrying a short-barreled shotgun.[1] The gunman opened fire inside of a courthouse in Ambelokipi, leaving four people wounded, before fleeing the scene but abandoning a short-barreled shotgun.[2][1][3] Police arrested the man, who they said was 89 years old, at a hotel near a bus station in the port city of Patras. Officers found a loaded .38-caliber revolver in his possession.[1]
